evisceration for a new beginning.

conversing with JP today about getting oneself into self-destructive situations/relationships of All sorts, and how much that Sucks.

he pointed out that regret is pointless. destruction (or self-destructive situations) are not necessarily futile and useless. take dada.

one definition of Dada or Dadaism [French, from dada, child's word for a horse]: Nihilistic movement in the arts that flourished chiefly in France, Switzerland, and Germany from about 1916 to about 1920 [and later -ed.] and that was based on the principles of deliberate irrationality, anarchy, and cynicism, and the rejection of laws of beauty and social organization.

in order to come up with a whole new definition of art (of oneself), one has to destroy everything left standing of the old art (self).

this bears more thought, but i like it.
it is definitely possible to reach breaking points where one Finally Finally stops making the same mistakes. one breaks once too often, heals, and then Actually moves on.

random thoughts:

self obLiteration
is healthy YES
in favor of Selfhood

"art of Self" akin to releasing mis-takes for_gives

self-heal<----->cell feel

where cell = prison, cage And/Or
smallest structural unit of an organism

bars are barriers to Self

once illuminated, the bars (misTakes) need to be Given or passed along like batons.

become monk-key bars

mitzvah: worthy deed
bar mitvah:
the good deeds that help you climb out of the cage you're in

je wish
I wish

invoking divine will of Self

you must completely destroy yourself before you can know what is available to give of yourSelf.

" The EVERYMAN of the Firesign Theatre play "I THINK WE'RE ALL BOZOS ON THIS BUS". Also known as "UhClem" to the main computer in the FUTURE FAIR. The liner notes for "Bozos" quotes the following definition from "The Language of American Popular Entertainment":

"Clem: Its most common meaning is that of a general fight or riot
between town hoodlums who attack shows and the circus or carnival
employees. As an interjection, clem has replaces 'hey rube' as a
battle cry for a forthcoming fight.

In this case, Clem attacks the Future Fair main computer by inserting a gypsy program to confuse DOCTOR MEMORY, bringing the whole operation down. The FT in later skits apparently developed Clems motivation and story as follows (David OSSMAN writes):

"Clem, a shoeless computer programmer for the Fair, was fired after
he re-programmed the RALPH SPOILSPORT Speedway ride to 'Smoke Dope'
ie, slow down, free-associate, play. He has now re-entered the Fair
and broken into the maintenance circuits of DOCTOR MEMORY in order
to re-program it to 'forget the past'. As on the album, he succeeds
in confusing the good Dr. into contradictory on/off instructions
which sabotage the machine and destroy the fantastic illusions we
had taken for Reality.

goodness me. i leave this blog for a day...!
now, miz/ster uhclem, i must confess a slight apprehension towards any character willing to attack "circus or carnival employees", being partial to the carnies myself. i don't know this FUTURE FAIR of which you speak...for some reason it reminds me of Ray Bradbury's "something wicked this way comes". which was great, by the way.

....heheh. i think i might have just figured out who you are.
if i'm right then perhaps i'm being indirectly accused of hoodlummery. if i'm wrong, well, i've always been a bit simple and prone to feeling culpable.
goodness. it's really quite the perplexing comment, this.
