now you may be wondering, dear reader(s)...

where have i been for the last couple of days? perhaps enjoying life in the west end in my glorious new apartment, amidst the rubble and the boxes and the expired anxiety?
well, kind of.
alas, the fascists at Bell had Rebecca and I plotting revolution from our office chairs the other day, trying to sort out our respective apartment phone line situations whilst maintaining our Brickly duties.
By the end of the day she proposed taking to the streets with twine and paper cups as a more viable option to the corporate communication iniquities; it seems that i will be without phone 'til July 13, and without internet 'til (fingers crossed) tomorrow.
as for now, i'm sneaking these pithy remarks into the end of my working day, and wondering what my biographer will think of these sundries years from now. it will indeed be a fascinating sociological experiment on my tiny brain, to be sure, but this is why i have been blogless as well.
just you wait tho'...i'll be back with a vengeance.
tomorrow? the day after? i'll leave you waiting with bated breath. (or bad breath, as the case may be...)

My first ever comment. Just visited to see if you had internet yet. Rogers just called here to say they're running late. Am crossing every appendage on my body in hopes that they get to you. This year. If they have and you are therefore checking this, may I be the first to welcome you back to the electronic world?

Can I come in as number 3 as well? So sorry about your woes. I sympathize as only She Who Witnessed It All can. How I wish I'd filmed the entire correspondence. The Rogers Diaries, we'd call it. Can you actually receive emails? So sorry to misuse this medium, and promise never to write a comment not immediately related to the post again, but wanted to reach out to poor trapped you. I can see it. Clearly. Poor stef trapped in her ibook. It had to happen one day. I'm sure it's coming to us all.

I couldn't understand from your syntax, but I think you invited Michael to brunch, not me, right? I think I was just in connection to the thank you (you're welcome!). In any case may I make a humble plea for a brunch too? Or tea? A meeting of some sort? (You have to say yes now, it would be so mean to reject me on the World Wide Web...)

...which is the very best kind. Thanks Barker.

Absolutely and Indubitably and Completely! Brunch towit, Miss Rebecca! this is the weirdest thing ever...still no emails out...all i can do is laugh and laugh and laugh. (maniacally as i pull at the remnants of my dreadlocks...)
perhaps i will wake up one morning in my blog, and someone will come and steal my ibook and bring it with them around the world, and i will see exotic worlds i've never seen before everytime this screen is opened up.
but never again the tap tap tap of warm fingers on the keyboard...
sigh.
