...i don't know, you know, it seems like something always gets lost from drawing to painting. sigh.

...perhaps the fact that there is less left to Imagine inside the painting is the sense of loss... the raw sketch certainly does Touch a different place... the end of the process Feels different... adolescence vs adulthood perhaps... the painting Contains the emotion that was aching to colour the barren lines... the ache is often the thrill...

agh. this idea of adolescence vs. adulthood in a painting seems accurate, and yet discouraging. i don't like to think that i'm losing any of that ...(chuckle) sketchiness by being an adult.

Either way, this is a great depiction of what I perceive are the interruptions to meditative thought.
