so. one year, one blog later.
i've dealt with some strange characters, become reacquainted with old Friends, had an adventure or two, found Two Great jobs, did a piece of art or fifty, did a bit of important thinking, had an interesting debate or two, or three, battled demons, moved, thought about books, read some interesting things in books, set my ass on fire, thought about human failings, dressed well, and delved some more into the profound language of self-identity.
and that's enough of that. without further hesitation, i now withdraw from blogland, for the time being, anyhow, to take my happy meanderings elsewhere. dear reader(s), thank you for your patronage.

and stef, I had just come here because I missed you already and it is so nice that your company exists like this, online, suspended, and reachable even from all the way over here on the east coast. It is sad, and I will miss it. It was a beautiful blog, and was the way I knew, right from the start, how much I was going to love you. But even without it, I would have known that as soon as we'd met. And it sounds like this is the Right Thing done for the Right Reasons. So congratulations on this new blogless era, and on having completed such a beautiful project. I will miss your worldweary synapses...
sigh.
Bless you and your blog-reading ways, Lady...
xoxo
Well I'll also be quite sorry to see it go. I've been away for a while - I went to India by the way - and have been slowly catching up with the meanderings in correct chronological order, only to be surprised to learn that when I reached the end it was actually ending. Though I guess that's what all good stories do.
Anyhoo, I will miss it. It was a nice way to get back in touch with a good old friend who lives far away in the kingdom of the beavers. And I am looking forward to reading your magnum opus when it gets out, although I'm not quite sure how I will get a copy over here.
So take care, enjoy your blogless world, and I'll see you round. Sometime.
So sad-- almost as soon as it entered my life it's over... it's been so fun getting to know you not just in person but by visiting your blog too. But stef, I so prefer the real live, human girl. Your blog is bright, smart, warm and sincere-- but all that and more shows in your face every minute of the day. Luckily you get to go on being bright, smart, warm and sincere forever, and take all this brilliant energy and put it somewheres new...
xo Em
ALL HAIL Real Life. Ah, Emily, just think now i can safely recount my tales without fear of boring you with deja vu!
oh Goodness. perhaps i should resume it, i feel all nostalgic and slightly teary with gratefulness.
perhaps in some other incarnation.
Sean, if you ever feel like checking up, and may your travelling ways end up here someday...if you get a chance, write me 'bout India, i'm still waiting for my flight out there.
Seeya, lovely - good to have you around for a while. And by all means, come on back when you wanta. xo JP
